The Organic O'Wool Plush Wool Blanket is naturally flame retardant, hypoallergenic and completely breathable. Wool resists bacteria and will not harbor dust mites. This soft wool blanket is warm in winter but cool in the summer. It absorbs excess body moisture and wick it away from the skin. Wool can actually absorb up to 30% of its weight in water without feeling wet to the touch. It then releases moisture into the atmosphere to keep you feeling warm and dry. These plush wool blankets are made from the wonderfully pure are made from super soft merino wool that is sheared from healthy living organically raised sheep. It is felted here in the U.S. using no chemicals, no carbonization.  They hold their shape well and can be machine washed on a delicate cool cycle. Hang Dry in the shade.

With proper care your woolen bedding can last for decades. It can then be composted and recycled at the end of it's lifecycle
