It is needle punched to prevent balling and keep the mattress pad in good condition for years. The mattress pad will protect your mattress from the moisture from your body. Perfect for use alone or on top of a wool moisture pad for protection from spills and larger amounts of moisture.
Machine wash warm/cold with mild detergent (no bleach) and tumble dry low. Add one cup of white distilled vinegar to the rinse cycle to release any soap residue and to soften. No special care needed for these durable pads.
